Who is responsible?

pysiQ is a free self-understanding project operated by Aktis, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 97726052. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@pysiq.com.

What this policy covers

This policy explains which data pysiQ processes when you browse the site, complete a screener, save results, create an account, request an email, contact us, or choose analytics or advertising cookies. pysiQ is not a diagnostic or healthcare provider.

Data we process

  • Screener data: answers, calculated domain scores, completion times, and optional demographic context such as birth year, gender, country, and diagnosis status.
  • Account data: email address, display name, login method, verification status, preferences, and accepted terms.
  • Anonymous-session data: a random signed browser identifier used to return unsaved results to the same browser. The cookie can remain for up to one year.
  • Security and activity data: IP address, user agent, timestamps, login and privacy-request events where needed to prevent abuse and secure the service.
  • Communication data: email address and message content when you request a login link, results email, data export, deletion, newsletter, or support.
  • Consent-based usage data: analytics and advertising events only according to the choices in the cookie panel.
  • Provide the requested screeners, scores, saved results, accounts, emails, and privacy tools: performance of the service you request.
  • Protect pysiQ, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and keep limited activity logs: legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable free service.
  • Send product or research updates: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Run non-essential analytics or advertising technology: your consent through the cookie panel.
  • Meet legal obligations and respond to valid requests: compliance with applicable law.

Assessment information

Assessment answers may reveal information about health, neurodivergence, or personal traits. pysiQ uses them only to calculate and display the requested profile, save it when you choose to do so, support deletion/export, and create aggregate service statistics. Individual answers are not sold or supplied to advertisers. The result is an automated calculation for self-understanding; it does not produce a diagnosis or a legal decision.

Service providers and recipients

pysiQ uses specialist providers to operate the service. Depending on the feature and production configuration, these can include Vercel for the website, Railway and PostgreSQL infrastructure for the application and database, Sanity for public content, Resend for email, Sentry for error monitoring, Google for optional sign-in, analytics and advertising. They process only the data needed for their service under their own terms and data-protection arrangements.

International transfers

Some providers are based outside the European Economic Area or use infrastructure in multiple regions. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard offered by the provider. Contact us if you need information about the relevant safeguard for a specific provider.

Retention

  • Saved account and assessment data remain available until you delete a result or account, subject to limited backups and records needed for security or legal obligations.
  • Anonymous results remain linked to the signed browser session until deleted or no longer retained for operating the service.
  • Login sessions normally expire after 30 days; privacy export and deletion links expire after 24 hours.
  • Newsletter contact data is kept until you unsubscribe; suppression information may be retained to respect that choice.
  • Analytics, advertising, email, hosting, and error-monitoring providers apply their configured retention periods.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent through the cookie settings or unsubscribe link. Use the privacy tools or email support@pysiq.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Cookies and choices

Essential cookies support security, login, language and anonymous result access. Optional analytics and advertising are controlled through the cookie panel. You can reopen it using “Manage cookies” in the footer. See the cookie policy for more detail.

Children, security and changes

pysiQ is intended for adults and is not designed to knowingly collect children's data. We use access controls, signed cookies, encrypted transport and deletion/export tools, but no online service can promise absolute security. We update this policy when data practices materially change and show the latest update date on this page.
